Drunk clarity.

I'm writing this from the perspective of being drunk, so please excuse any grammatical or spelling error. Unlike any other blog I've written whilst drunk, i've managed to grab on to enough sense to be able to carry out tyical tasks such as grammar and spelling yet my coherence may be low. Please ignore that.

So what to think about tonight? Tonight was a good night. I met many friends and had a chat with some random person at the burger van about philosophy...which was random. I also missed my girlfriend very much. When thinking about this, I wondered to myself "What is it about someone that makes us miss them?"

At this point I'd like to point out that my relationship with my girlfriend is very good. She is a wonderful, beautiful, swedish girl who I always cannot wait to see. She makes me really happy and I always look forward to seeing her. Cynics may say I write this because there's a chance she may read it, but honestly I don't mind. Kajsa, if you are reading this, you are awesome!

So then, back to the question in hand...what makes a person "miss" another person? What I personally feel when I miss my girlfriend is a sense of longing for touch...I wish to hold her and kiss her. I want to talk to her, chill with her, everything that can be expected of two mutual friends in the first place in addition to the beneficial physical contact. Kajsa is without a doubt the best girlfriend I have ever had, and I don't believe I've ever felt this way about a girl before. So what I miss about Kajsa may well be the very essence of Kajsa herself; her beauty, her personality, everything. Thus, what a person may be said to miss of another may be physical contact. By judging on what I have writen this would certainly appear to be the case.

However, I have other friends also from Birmingham which I miss (namely Richard Lee for example). What I miss about Richard is similar; his atittude and his personality. Rich is a very fun guy to hang around with and I really feel as if I'm lucky to be a friend of his.

Thus, the essence of missing another person must be that the contact bond you have with them is presumably strong enough to mean that when you cannot see them you still desire to.

Kajsa, you are still amazing :) Rich, you are a fantastic guy (though you won't read this!)

Went for walk in the park with family, went to Ste's party.

Met up with Kajsa, went round Birmingham with her then saw her off at the train station.Worked at Mom's office, went to Blakfish gig.

Worked at Mom's office.

John woke up having slept through all his lectures. A book arrived to the flat today which has been discarded on the playstation and may or may not be ever read. Some random person was knocking on the door but knowing the scouse flatmate it was probably one of her many unknown associates. John went back to his room and went on the internet for a bit. John opened his curtains a few hours later to find a bird has shat on his window.
